Privacy Policy

    How we handle your data.

    Last updated: April 14, 2026

    The short version

We respect your privacy. We collect only what we need to do the work we were hired to do, we don't sell your data, and we don't share it with third parties except the limited service providers we use to run the business (e.g., hosting, email). If you ever want us to delete information we hold about you, ask.

    Who we are

modtech llc is a technology consulting firm based in South Florida. "We," "us," and "our" refer to modtech llc. "You" means visitors to this site, prospective clients, and current clients.

    What we collect

    • Information you give us — anything you send through the contact form, by email, or in the course of an engagement (name, company, email, phone, what you're working on).
    • Basic site analytics — standard server logs (IP address, user agent, referring URL, timestamps) and privacy-respecting analytics so we can understand which pages are useful.
    • Cookies — a theme preference (light/dark) and any cookies set by the analytics tool. No advertising trackers.

    What we do with it

    • Respond to inquiries and run engagements you've hired us for.
    • Send operational email (contracts, invoices, status updates).
    • Improve the site and the services we offer.
    • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising.

    Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to run the business — for example, email hosting, cloud infrastructure, and accounting. We pick vendors with reasonable security practices and ask them to handle data accordingly. We'll share information with authorities when we're legally required to.

    Client data during engagements

If you're a client, we handle your systems and data under the specific terms of your engagement — typically a Master Services Agreement and, where applicable, a Business Associate Agreement (HIPAA) or Data Processing Addendum. Those contracts govern how we handle your data and take precedence over this general policy for engagement-related information.

    Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or opt out of non-essential communications. Reach us at contact@modtech.io.

    Security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, multi-factor authentication on our own systems, and the kinds of security controls we would recommend to our clients. No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach that affects your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

    Changes to this policy

If we materially change this policy, we'll update the "last updated" date above and, where reasonable, let affected parties know directly.
